These known elements essentially refer to pieces that cover the edge of the convex area of the step, determining a rounding and embellishment of the same. However, these known elements for forming steps have drawbacks related to their complexity of arrangement in the step, and to not act on the edge of the concavity of the step.
OF THE INVENTION In order to achieve the objectives and avoid the drawbacks indicated above, the invention consists of a piece for forming steps that can be carried out by means of processes analogous to those for the manufacture of conventional tiles. Newly, according to the invention, said piece consists of a body or tile that is arranged adjacent to the vertical surface existing in the corresponding step, having a geometry such that its upper and lower edges connect without continuity solution and horizontally with the edges of the edges. tiles, pavement or the like corresponding respectively to the upper horizontal and lower horizontal surfaces of said step, in proximity of the edges thereof. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said geometry of said body or piece consists of a curved-convex upper top and of considerable width whose end flush with the corresponding upper horizontal tile of the step forming an upper joint; as well as in a lower curved-concave finish that extends in a small horizontal section whose end flush with the corresponding lower horizontal tile of the step forming a lower joint, so that this small section displaces this lower joint slightly away from the corresponding edge of the step; also being defined a frontis between the top finish and the bottom finish of the piece.
The aforementioned upper edge or top may present a special decoration different from the rest of the piece that facilitates the distinction of the location of the corresponding rung.
In addition, the piece of the invention can be supplemented with one or more units of a side element that has the same profile as the piece but extended to two different vertical planes, so that said side element is incorporated as a corner in a or more lateral extreme zones of the corresponding step.
With this constitution, the piece of the invention has the advantages that it grants a decoration and signaling to the edge of the edge of the convex part of the step, rounding it up as desired, according to different embodiments. In addition, the edge corresponding to the concave part of the step is also rounded and the joint that is normally located on this edge is left slightly displaced, which determines that there is less accumulation of dirt on this edge of the concave part of the step, while facilitating its cleaning. All these advantages determine a very useful piece for the formation of steps, which is also very simple to apply and can be manufactured using the conventional methods of manufacturing conventional tiles.
Below, to facilitate a better understanding of this descriptive specification and forming an integral part of it, some figures are attached in which the object of the invention has been represented with an illustrative and non-limiting character.
OF THE FIGURES Figure 1.- Represents a profile view and sectioned of a step that includes a piece for forming steps made according to the present invention.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE UN EJEMPLO DE REALIZACIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN Seguidamente se realiza una descripción de un ejemplo de la invención, haciendo referencia a la numeración adoptada en las figuras .Figure 2.- Represents a perspective view of the part referred to in the previous figure 1, also showing in explosion the location thereof and its possibility of coupling to a lateral element provided for the lateral end areas of the corresponding step. DESCRIPTION OF AN EXAMPLE OF EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Next, a description of an example of the invention is made, referring to the numbering adopted in the figures.
Thus, the piece 1 for formation of steps of this example of embodiment consists of a kind of tile that is incorporated adjacent to the vertical surface of the corresponding step, as shown in Figure 1.
This upper edge or top 2 has a special decoration different from the rest of the piece to facilitate the distinction of the location of the corresponding step. On the other hand, and also according to Figure 1, the piece 1 has a lower curved-concave end 7 that extends in a small horizontal section 6. The free end of this horizontal section 6 flush with the corresponding lower horizontal tile 4 of the step, forming a lower joint 8. With this the small section 6 displaces the joint 8 away from the corresponding edge of the step, which will hinder the accumulation of dirt in that area, and it will also be easier to clean it. Between the upper end 2 and the lower end 7 of part 1 is a frontis 3 which may be smooth, with reliefs, with or without ornamentation, according to different finishes.
Obviamente, también se podría fabricar la pieza 1 sin el tramo horizontal 6, de manera que la propia superficie lateral del frontis 3 genere la junta inferior 8.Obviously, the piece 1 could also be manufactured without the horizontal section 6, so that the lateral surface of the front 3 itself generates the lower joint 8.
The piece 1 can be supplemented with one or more units of the side element 10 shown in figure 2. This side element 10 has the same profile as the piece 1 but extended to two different vertical planes, whereby the side element 10 is incorporated as a butt plate in the extreme lateral zones of the step for a greater embellishment of these zones when it is desired and, logically, as long as the step is not limited laterally between vertical walls.
