Abstract

L'invention concerne une chaise roulante caractérisée en ce qu'elle est relativement peu onéreuse, totalement pliable et capable de négocier un terrain accidenté. La chaise roulante (10) comprend un élément de siège (14); un essieu arrière (18), doté de deux arbres de roue pivotables (26), permettant de supporter l'élément de siège (14) et de dimensions telles qu'il vient en prise avec une roue arrière (20) au niveau de chaque partie terminal de celui-ci; un faisceau de châssis (22) relié à l'essieu arrière (18) et s'étendant à partir de celui-ci; ainsi qu'un agencement de roues avant (24) relié à une partie terminale avant du faisceau de châssis (22). La chaise roulante comprend également un connecteur de support (16) conçu pour venir en prise amovible avec l'élément de siège (14) et pour supporter celui-ci sur l'essieu arrière (18). Le connecteur de support (16), les arbres de roue (26) et le faisceau de châssis allongé (22) forment ensemble le châssis pliable (12) de la chaise roulante.
