Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'authentification (80) présentant des connexions électriques (100, 110) vers un indicateur de dispositif (120). Cet indicateur de dispositif (120) est formé à partir d'une matière électrochromique qui change de couleur et/ou révèle une image sous-jacente en réponse à une communication avec un logiciel que le dispositif (80) doit authentifié. Lors de son utilisation, le dispositif d'écriture/lecture de dispositifs (70) est relié à un ordinateur (20) à la mémoire dans laquelle est chargé un jeu vidéo ou analogue. Avant que ce jeu vidéo ne puisse être démarré, un utilisateur doit authentifier ce jeu par le biais de l'insertion d'un dispositif d'authentification valide (80) dans le dispositif d'écriture/lecture de dispositifs. Une fois authentifié, le jeu peut démarrer. Le fait de terminer des niveaux variés de jeux vidéo peut permettre au dispositif d'écriture/lecture de dispositifs d'envoyer, à son tour, des signaux à la matière électrochimique de sorte à en modifier l'état.
