Abstract

Holographic and corrosion retardant security device for packaging of metallic articles/parts/components comprising of a front polymeric sheet/film and a back plastic film with Vapor Corrosion Inhibition, an inner layer of the said front film is vaccum matelised by using conventional method and followed by embossing thereon specific logo or message to get holographic effect by using conventional holographic process, the inner layer of the said film is then coated by using formulated adhesive and it is subsequently dried/cured to desired extent, an outer layer of the said film is being printed with desired matter; the said back plastic sheet/film with VCI is done by blending the conventional thermoplastic polymers with appropriate dosage of VCI chemicals and fillers, being laminated to the said plastic film to get a composite holographic film rendering benefits of brand protection and corrosion retardants; the said holographic composite film may be combined further to another polymeric composite sheets/films of similar construction but without holographic message and with or without printing sandwiched between the layers of the films to form the bottom layer of a composite bag/pouch.
