Abstract

A communication state monitor unit (108) monitors the communication state such as a moving speed of a mobile station and a transmitter (111) generates at least one signal spread by a spread code. According to the communication state from the communication state monitor unit, a weight processor (113) weights a signal generated by the weight processor. A multiplexer (103) multiplexes the signal weighted by the weight processor (113) and outputs a synthesized signal. On the other hand, a known signal generator (102) generates at least one signal of a predetermined pattern. A time division multiplexer (104) time-division-multiplexes the known signal and the synthesized signal in a predetermined order. The transmission signal which has been time-division-multiplexed is subjected to analog processing by an analog transmitter (105) and transmitted from an antenna (106).
