Abstract

L'invention concerne un fer droit, et plus particulièrement un fer droit (1) aidant les golfeurs à frapper une balle de golf (17) de façon uniforme, sans appliquer d'effet arrière à la balle. Ce fer droit (1) comprend une tête (2) fixée à une tige (3). La tête (2) présente une face avant (7) qui frappe la balle (17), et une face supérieure (6) tournée vers le golfeur à l'utilisation. Le centre de gravité vertical (8) se trouve derrière une partie supérieure de la face avant (7) de la tête (2). Ladite tête (2) comporte, au moins dans une partie centrale (35) de la face avant (7), une section transversale en forme de L inversé. Dans ce L inversé, la face supérieure (6) constitue le bras supérieur (36) de la forme en L, et la face avant (7) constitue le bras avant (37) de la forme en L. Le bras avant (37) est plus mince que le bras supérieur (36). En conséquence, la tête présente un centre de gravité vertical (8) situé derrière un tiers supérieur de la face avant (7) de la tête (2), au-dessus du point d'impact avec la balle de golf (17).
