Members must complete a golf survey that analyses their golf swing and game, and a health survey that determines their level of fitness and any preexisting health problems and injuries. There are two self-evaluations that must be completed, the postural and muscle self- assessment, which are divided into a total of 9 stages 4 each focussing on a different area of the body.

- the health and fitness program is custom made to suit the individual's level of fitness and directly focuses on strengthening and correcting their individual postural and muscle weaknesses through exercises so that the golfer will ultimately improve their biomechanical well-being m a low impact and gradual process.
- the improved fitness and biomechanics will directly affect the golfers game and swing by being able to hit and control the ball more accurately and consistently as well as preventing possible injuries associated with incorrect swings and biomechanies.
- the system of he present invention assumes that the golfer knows all the basics of golf including the correct ball position and stance and does not teach how to play golf. Golfers are advised to seek help from golf professionals to learn how to play golf and to assume the correct stance, ball position, spine angle and swing.
- the whole process of diagnosing muscle, posture and golf swing faults and producing a custom made correctional health and fitness program is completely automated through interaction with the online database and calculating coded formulas.
- the user's results are determined through a series of server and database queries and calculations based on a coding system developed by chiropractors and programmers that link certain muscle and posture faults, as well as combinations of these faults, to a major golf swing fault and exercise programs aimed at correcting these faults.
- the system ofthe preferred embodiments ofthe present invention consists ofthe electronic interactive diagnosis and the resulting health and fitness program, which include health advice, and a series of exercise programs explained step-by-step starting from the members current fitness level.
- the embodiment of he invention actually determines the most prominent swing fault and focuses on correcting that fault. Once that major swing fault is eliminated through the exercise program then any underlying swing faults will surface and be dete ⁇ nined to be the new major swing fault in the results ofthe next quarterly re-evaluation. If the health and fitness program is correctly followed by the golfer then eventually all their fault should be eliminated * which will be noticeable in their improved golf swing and game results.
- the significant feature ofthe present invention is that the system actually analyses the data electronically online from the data collected from the self evaluations through complex programming in Cold Fusion 5, through a series of interactions with the server and a secure database, using codes and formulas that determine an accurate diagnosis and produces a custom made health and fitness program to correct the individuals biomechanical faults and swing.
- the usefulness o the system of the present invention is that it provides golfers with a quick and easy solution to their swing faults by providing an online solution in the comfort of their own home or workplace, in their own spare time, without having to visit a chiropractor in person. It eliminates the need to search for a chiropractor that understands how biomechanical faults affect a golfers swing, Many people may not be aware that they have a biomechanical fault and that is the factor that is affecting their swing and not the quality of their golf equipment so ultimately improving a golfer's swing could possibly save the golfer money in purchasing unnecessary and expensive golf equipment in search of a way to improve their swing.
- Membership to the website is obtained by paying a consultation fee via credit card over the internet. Approved members are provided with, via login and password details along with instructions on how and where to proceed to start the evaluation process. The member will then be able to access the members' only area of he site, which will consist of surveys, self assessments, member's profile, members details change form, account details, chat room, members email advice page, message board, members assessment status and members benefits page.
- the member is given a report on the outcome of their assessment and a custom made fitness program starting from beginners to advanced depending on their current level of fitness and ability.
- the fitness program will consist of step-by-step exercises.
- the report will show illustrations of their current postural faults and swing faults as well as the correct posture that they need to have to improve their physical well-being and their golf game.
- the basic architecture of the system 10 is such that requests from the browser 11 will be sent to the web server 12 over the internet 13 where they will be handled according to their type.
- ColdFusion pages 14 interact with a database server 15 and the necessary results determined to be sent back to the browser 11.
