Abstract

La présente invention concerne des compositions antimicrobiennes basées sur une association synergique d'un dérivé d'acide aminé présentant un centre chiral et des agents microbicides commerciaux sélectionnés. Des combinaisons préférées sont notamment de l'acide éthylènediaminedisuccinique et ses sels avec du 5-chloro-2- méthyl-3-isothiazolone, 2-méthyl-3-isothiazolone, 2-n-octyl-3-isothiazolone, benzisothiazolone, 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol, imidazolidinyl urée, 1,3-diméth- ylol-5,5-diméthylhydantoïne, phénoxyéthanol or méthyle parahydroxybenzoate, pour procurer une efficacité antimicrobienne améliorée à un niveau d'ingrédients actifs associés inférieur à celui des niveaux d'utilisation efficace de la combinaison du dérivé d'acide aminé seul et des compositions microbicides dans le commerce.
