Description

杀微生物组合物
本发明涉及含有3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮和二羟甲基-二甲基乙内酰脲或三(羟基甲基)硝基甲烷的杀微生物组合物。
美国专利第8,808,500号揭示DMDMH和Dazomet,以及许多其它化合物作为适用于控制含有硼氢化物残余物的水性系统中微生物生长的醛来源。然而,这一参考文献并未表明本文中所要求的特定组合或其比率,或并未表明这些组合可以具有协同性。本发明解决的问题是提供杀微生物剂的额外协同组合。
发明内容
本发明涉及一种协同杀微生物组合物,包含:(a)3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮;和(b)二羟甲基-二甲基乙内酰脲或三(羟基甲基)硝基甲烷;其中二羟甲基-二甲基乙内酰脲与3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮的重量比是20:1到1:6.4,并且三(羟基甲基)硝基甲烷与3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮的重量比是150:1到1:6.4。
具体实施方式
如本文所用,除非上下文另外明确指示,否则以下术语具有指定定义。术语“杀微生物剂”是指能够抑制微生物生长或控制微生物生长的化合物;杀微生物剂包括杀菌剂、杀真菌剂和除藻剂。术语“微生物”包括例如真菌(如酵母菌和霉菌)、细菌、古细菌和藻类。除非另外规定,否则温度以摄氏度(℃)计,提及百分比是重量百分比(wt%),并且量和比率是按活性成分计。除非另外规定,否则所有操作都是在室温(20-25℃)下进行。
“THNM”是三(羟基甲基)硝基甲烷(CAS号126-11-4)。“Dazomet”是3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮(CAS号533-74-4)。“DMDMH”是二羟甲基-二甲基乙内酰脲(CAS号6440-58-0)。本文所详述的分析中所用的每一活性剂的浓度是按市售配制产品中的各别活性成分计。市售产品的实例如下:THNM,可以50%活性成分配制品形式获得;Dazomet,可以24%活性成分商业配制品形式获得;并且DMDMH,可以54%活性成分商业配制品形式获得。

在本发明的一个优选实施例中,组合物包含Dazomet和DMDMH。在本发明的一个优选实施例中,组合物包含Dazomet和THNM。
优选的是,每一协同杀微生物组合物大体上不含除非DMDMH、Dazomet和THNM之外的杀微生物剂,即按活性成分的总重量计,其具有低于1重量%,优选低于0.5重量%,优选低于0.2重量%,优选低于0.1重量%的其它杀微生物剂。优选的是,当将协同杀微生物组合物添加到水性介质中时,介质大体上不含其它杀微生物剂,即按活性成分的总重量计,其具有低于1重量%,优选低于0.5重量%,优选低于0.2重量%,优选低于0.1重量%的其它杀微生物剂。
本发明的组合物可以含有其它成分,例如消泡剂和乳化剂。本发明的杀微生物组合物通过向经受微生物攻击的水性介质中引入杀微生物有效量的所述组合物可以用以抑制微生物或更高等形式水生生物(例如原生动物、无脊椎动物、苔藓虫类、沟鞭藻类、甲壳动物、软体动物等)的生长。适合水性介质存在于例如:工业处理水;电涂膜沉积系统;冷却塔;空气洗涤器;洗气器;矿浆;废水处理;观赏喷泉;逆渗透过滤;超滤;压载水;蒸发冷凝器;热交换器;纸浆和纸处理流体和添加剂;淀粉;塑料;乳液;分散液;油漆;胶乳;涂料,例如清漆;建筑用产品,例如胶粘剂、填缝剂和密封剂;建筑用粘着剂,例如陶瓷粘着剂、地毯背胶和层压粘着剂;工业用或消费者用粘着剂;摄影用化学品;印刷用流体;家居产品,例如盥洗室和厨房清洁剂;化妆品;洗漱用品;洗发剂;肥皂;个人护理产品,例如湿巾、洗剂、防晒霜、护发素、乳霜和其它免洗式应用;清洁剂;工业清洁剂;地板抛光剂;洗衣漂洗水;金属加工流体;传送带润滑剂;液压机液体;皮革和皮革产品;织物;纺织品;木材和木材产品,例如胶合板、木屑板、碎木板、层压梁、定向刨花板、硬质纤维板和颗粒板;石油加工流体;燃料;油田用流体,例如注射用水、压裂液和钻井泥浆;农产品辅助防腐;表面活性剂防腐;医疗装置;诊断试剂防腐;食物防腐,例如塑料或纸质食品包装;食物、饮料和工业处理巴氏消毒器;抽水马桶;娱乐用水;水池;以及矿泉。
本发明进一步针对一种通过将如本文所述的协同组合物添加到介质中抑制介质中微生物生长的方法。优选的是,介质大体上不含硼氢化物残余物。优选的是,介质大体上不含氧化剂。
在应用中抑制或控制微生物生长所必需的本发明杀微生物组合物的具体量将变化。典型地,如果本发明组合物的量提供100到5,000ppm(mg/L)的组合物的活性成分,那么其足以控制微生物生长。优选的是,有待处理的介质中活性成分含量是至少200ppm,优选地至少300ppm,优选地至少400ppm。优选的是,有待处理的介质中组合物的活性成分的含量是不超过4,000ppm、优选不超过3,000ppm、优选不超过2,000ppm,优选不超过1,000ppm,优选不超过800ppm,优选不超过700ppm。在本发明方法中,通过一起或分别添加将产生上文所指示浓度的量的协同组合物的两种组分来处理组合物从而抑制微生物生长。
实例
本发明组合的协同作用通过测试各种浓度和比率的化合物来证明。
一种协同作用的测量是Kull,F.C.;Eisman,P.C.;ylwestrowicz,H.D.以及Mayer,R.L.在《用微生物学(Applied Microbiology)》9:538-541(1961)中描述的工业上可接受的方法,使用下式确定的比率:Qa/QA+Qb/QB=协同指数(“SI”),其中:QA=化合物A(第一组分)单独作用产生终点的浓度(化合物A的MIC),其以ppm为单位。QA=化合物A在混合物中产生终点的浓度,其以ppm为单位。QB=化合物B(第二组分)单独作用产生终点的浓度(化合物B的MIC),其以ppm为单位。Qb=化合物B在混合物中产生终点的浓度,其以ppm为单位。
当Qa/QA和Qb/QB的总和大于1时,指示拮抗作用。当总和等于1时,指示加成作用,并且当小于1时,证明协同作用。SI越低,由那种特定混合物所展示的协同作用越高。杀微生物剂的最低抑制浓度(MIC)是在防止所添加微生物生长的特定集合条件下测试的最低浓度。
协同作用测试使用标准微量滴定盘分析用经过设计使测试微生物最佳生长的介质进行。使用补充有0.2%葡萄糖和0.1%酵母提取物的最小盐介质(M9GY介质)测试细菌。在这一方法中,通过导电高分辨率MIC分析在各种浓度的DMDMH和Dazomet或THNM和Dazomet存在下测试杀微生物剂的各种组合。高分辨率MIC如下测定:将不同量的杀微生物剂添加到微量滴定盘的一个管柱中,并且使用自动化液体处理系统进行后续十倍稀释,获得2ppm到1,000ppm活性成分范围内的一系列终点。
针对所选细菌物种大肠杆菌(Escherichia coli)(ATCC号25922)、绿脓杆菌(Pseudomonas aeruginosa)(ATCC号9027、金黄色酿脓葡萄球菌(Staphylococcus aureus)(ATCC号6538)以及肺炎克雷伯氏杆菌(Klebsiella pneumoniae)(ATCC号13883)的聚生体测定本发明组合的协同作用。使用每毫升大致1×106CFU的每一物种来制备聚生体。这些微生物代表许多了工业应用中的天然污染物。在35℃下在24小时之后通过目测来评价盘的微生物生长(浊度),以在所选培育时间之后确定MIC。
用于证明DMDMH与Dazomet之间的协同作用的测试结果示于以下表1中。在每一测试中,第二组分(B)是Dazomet并且第一组分(A)是DMDMH。下表展示DMDMH和Dazomet的具有协同性的特定组合,以及通过MIC测量的单独迈隆(QB)和单独DMDMH(QA)的终点活性(以ppm为单位)、计算的SI值和所测试的每一协同组合的协同比率范围(例如DMDMH/Dazomet或A/B。获得不含MDMH的54%活性剂配制品形式的DMDMH。

Claims (6)

1.一种协同杀微生物组合物,包含:(a)3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮;和(b)二羟甲基-二甲基乙内酰脲或三(羟基甲基)硝基甲烷;其中二羟甲基-二甲基乙内酰脲与3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮的重量比是20:1到1:6.4,并且三(羟基甲基)硝基甲烷与3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮的重量比是150:1到1:6.4。
2.根据权利要求1所述的协同杀微生物组合物,包含:(a)3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮;和(b)二羟甲基-二甲基乙内酰脲。
3.根据权利要求2所述的协同杀微生物组合物,其中二羟甲基-二甲基乙内酰脲与3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮的重量比是20:1到1:2.4。
4.根据权利要求1所述的协同杀微生物组合物,包含:(a)3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮;和(b)三(羟基甲基)硝基甲烷。
5.根据权利要求4所述的协同杀微生物组合物,其中三(羟基甲基)硝基甲烷与3,5-二甲基-1,3,5-硫二氮杂环己烷-2-硫酮的重量比是150:1到30:1或6.7:1到1.67:1或1:1到1:6.4。
