Die Patrone besitzt einen Propfen in der Form ähnlich zum Blumentopf mit Untersatz und zwei Propfen aus Blei, ausgeführt in Form dünner, runden Bleibleche. In oberen Teil des Säckchens mit Schrot, in den Rändern seiner Biegung, sind zwei schüsselähnliche Bleibleche angebracht, welche die Fliehmasse bilden. Aus der polnischen Beschreibung der Erfindung Nr 171242 sind Schrotpatronen bekannt, in welchen Wasserechte Schrotpatrone eine innere Abdichtung gegen Feuchte hat, damit die Feuchte zur Schleuderladung nicht gelangen kann. Diese Dichtung bildet mindestens eine flexilble, sich verschmälernde Lippe auf Plastikpropfen, welche zur inneren Oberfläche der Schrotpatronenhülse über der Schiesspulverladung angepresst wird. Ein günstiger Beispiel der Realisierung ist ein zweiteiliger Propfen, welcher einen Teil der die Schrotschüssel bildet und einen Propfenteil hat. Der Propfenteil hat einen mittleren Schildteil und ein Rohrrand, welchen ein Paar gegenüberliegender, flexiblen Lippen enden, die eine zweifache Dichtung gegen die Feuchte sichern. So wie die Anwendung der speziellen Munition in den Revolvern kein Problemdarstellt, so im Fall der Pistolen ist sie wesentlich um die Wirkung der Waffenautomatik zu sichern. Die Patrone des Kalibers 9mm Makarow, welche in Pistolen P-64 „ Czak", P-83 „ Wanad" angewandt wird und Ausstattung der polnischen Polizei, des Militärs, der Schutzdienste und auch der zivilen Benutzer darstellt ist dadurch charakteristisch, dass die Pistolen welche mit dieser Patrone schiessen, auf dem Prinzip des Rückstosses des freien Schlosses wirken. Ganz anders ist im Fall des am meisten in der Welt populären Kalibers- 9mm Parabellum / Luger /. Das ist wesentlich stärkere Munition, und das Prinzip der Wirkung der Pistolen stützt sich auf dem Rückstoss des Schlosses mit einem kurzen Rückstoss des Laufes. Es besteht die Notwendigkeit der Lösung des Problemes der Erlangung eines Kompromisses zwichen Gasdruck, welcher zur Umladung der Waffe notwending ist und der Energie des Geschosses im Ziel.
