Abstract

Se refiere a una pieza (1) de las que se disponen en adyacencia en filas y columnas a modo de cuadrícula. Dicha pieza (1) presenta en sus lados unos resaltes (2) y rehunidos (3) machihembrables, adaptados al correspondiente motivo decorativo, que rompen la continuidad en las líneas de dicha cuadrícula, dificultando la distinción de las mismas, y posibilitando ornamentaciones en los conjuntos de piezas de estructura no cuadriculada.

Description

PIEZA CERÁMICA, AZULEJO, BALDOSA O SIMILARES, MEJORADA
OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓN
La presente invención, tal y como se expresa en el enunciado de esta memoria descriptiva, se refiere a una pieza cerámica, azulejo, baldosa o similares, mejorada, cuya finalidad principal consiste en proporcionar una novedosa pieza cerámica para pavimentación y revestimiento que presente una configuración de la que se obtengan importantes mejoras a nivel estético. Esta configuración se obtiene mediante unos resaltes y rehundidos machihembrables en los lados de la pieza que se adaptan al correspondiente motivo decorativo y que rompen la continuidad en las líneas de la cuadrícula formada por una pluralidad de piezas, lo que dificulta la distinción de dichas líneas y posibilita ornamentaciones que no se podrían conseguir con las piezas cuadrangulares convencionales .
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN Son conocidas las piezas cerámicas, azulejos, baldosas o similares, que se disponen en adyacencia en filas y columnas a modo de cuadrícula. Estas piezas convencionales para pavimento y revestimiento presentan inconvenientes relativos a que dejan muy visibles las líneas de unión que se generan al yuxtaponer unas piezas con otras, ya que todas ellas son completamente cuadrangu- lares y una vez colocadas se aprecia claramente una especie de cuadrícula correspondiente a las zonas de unión entre piezas. Estas líneas de cuadrícula, al ser todas ellas rectas , estropean estéticamente la continuidad de un motivo decorativo, restando vistosidad al efecto de la ornamenta- ción, ya sea éste geométrico, de imitación de formas marmóreas, de imitación a piedra natural u otros.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN Para lograr los objetivos y evitar los inconvenientes indicados en anteriores apartados, la invención consiste en una pieza cerámica, azulejo, baldosa o similares, mejorada de las que se disponen en adyacencia en filas y columnas a modo de cuadrícula.
Novedosamente, según la invención, dicha pieza presenta en sus lados unos resaltes y rehundidos machi- hembrables adaptados al correspondiente motivo decorativo que rompen la continuidad en las líneas de dicha cuadrícula, dificultando la distinción de las mismas y posibilitando ornamentaciones en los conjuntos de piezas de estructura no cuadriculada. En una realización preferente de la invención, estos resaltes y rehundidos presentan una forma trapecial, incluyéndose un resalte en el centro de uno de los lados de la pieza, otro resalte en el centro del lado opuesto, un rehundido en el centro de otro lado de la pieza y otro rehundido en el centro del lado opuesto a este último . No obstante, en otras realizaciones la forma de estos resaltes y rehundidos puede variar, siempre que se mantengan las características de que sean fácilmente machihembrablés y que rompan adecuadamente la continuidad en las líneas de adyacencia entre piezas.
Con la configuración que se ha descrito, la ventaja de la pieza de la invención consiste en que posibilita unos efectos estéticos mucho mejores en las correspondientes pavimentaciones o revestimientos . A continuación, para facilitar una mejor comprensión de esta memoria descriptiva y formando parte integrante de la misma, se acompañan unas figuras en las que con carácter ilustrativo y no limitativo se ha representado el objeto de la invención. BREVE DESCRIPCIÓN DE LAS FIGURAS
Figura 1.- Representa una vista en planta de una pieza cerámica realizada según la presente invención.
Figura 2. - Representa una vista en planta de varias piezas del tipo de la referida en la anterior figura 1, mostrando su aplicación a una ornamentación que imita a piezas de piedra natural.
Figura 3. - Representa una vista en planta de una disposición de piezas del tipo de la referida en la anterior figura 1, mostrando una aplicación a parquet. Figura 4. - Representa una vista en planta de una pluralidad de piezas del tipo de la referida en la anterior figura 1, mostrando una aplicación en la que la ornamentación imita a un mosaico con piezas de diferentes formas geométricas . DESCRIPCIÓN DE UN EJEMPLO DE REALIZACIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN
Seguidamente se realiza una descripción de un ejemplo de la invención, haciendo referencia a la numeración adoptada en las figuras .
Así, la pieza cerámica mejorada de este ejemplo de realización consiste en una pieza esencialmente cuadraήgular 1 del tipo de un azulejo o similar, pero con la particularidad de que sus cuatro lados presentan respectivos resaltes 2 y rehundidos 3, tal y co o se aprecia en la figura 1. En este ejemplo, los resaltes 2 y los rehundidos 3 son trapeciales y se disponen de manera que uno de los resaltes 2 está en el centro de uno de los lados de la pieza 1, otro resalte 2 está en el lado opuesto al anterior, un rehundido 3 está en el centro de otro lado de la pieza 1, y el lado restante presenta un rehundido 3 similar al anterior. Esta configuración determina un fácil machihembrado entre varias piezas 1, ya que los resaltes 2 corresponden perfectamente con los rehundidos 3. Además , al colocar varias piezas 1 en filas y columnas, las correspon- dientes líneas de cuadrícula correspondientes a las uniones entre piezas quedan quebradas debido a los resaltes 2 y rehundidos 3, dificultando su visibilidad.
Además, si los resaltes 2 y rehundidos 3 se encuentran adaptados a la ornamentación de las piezas, según se puede ver en las figuras 2, 3 y 4, la decoración que proporcionen las piezas 1 tendrá un excelente aspecto estético, tal y como puede apreciarse en las referidas figuras 2 , 3 y 4.
Así, en la figura 2 se puede ver una aplica- ción que representa piezas de piedra natural, dando una sensación de irregularidad imposible de obtener con piezas cuadrangulares convencionales .
La figura 3 muestra una aplicación a parquet en el que las tablillas parecen presentar una disposición compleja y de bello aspecto, pareciendo que se han empleado tablillas de muy diversos tamaños y formas, cuando en realidad únicamente se emplean las piezas de este ejemplo, todas ellas iguales .
En la figura 4 se aprecia una aplicación a una ornamentación que asemeja un mosaico en el que las piezas empleadas son unas piezas octogonales de gran tamaño, unas piezas hexagonales más pequeñas y otras piezas pentagonales también de pequeño tamaño, cuando en realidad únicamente se han empleado piezas como las de la figura 1, todas ellas iguales.

Claims

- REIVINDICACIONES - 1.- PIEZA CERÁMICA, AZULEJO, BALDOSA O SIMILARES, MEJORADA, de las que se disponen en adyacencia en filas y columnas a modo de cuadrícula; caracterizada porque dicha pieza (1) presenta en sus lados unos resaltes (2) y rehundidos (3) machihembrables, adaptados al correspondiente motivo decorativo, que rompen la continuidad en las líneas de dicha cuadrícula, dificultando la distinción de las mismas, y posibilitando ornamentaciones en los conjuntos de piezas de estructura no cuadriculada.
2.- PIEZA CERÁMICA, AZULEJO, BALDOSA O SIMILARES, MEJORADA, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque dichos resaltes (2) y rehundidos (3) presentan una forma trapecial, incluyéndose un resalte (2) en el centro de uno de los lados de la pieza (1) , otro resalte (2) en el centro del lado opuesto, un rehundido (3) en el centro de otro lado de la pieza (1) y otro rehundido (3) en el centro del lado opuesto a este último.
