Abstract

It is estimated that a novel protein RPK118 binding to shingosine kinase 1, which is isolated from human brain, binds to sphingosine kinase 1 in the C-terminal side of the P-kinase domain and transports sphingosine kinase 1 to a specific site in a cell via the PX domain and the ESP domain, thereby serving as a sorting protein .
