Abstract
L'invention appartient au domaine des sorbants d'hydrocarbures tels que le pétrole et les produits pétroliers et peut s'utiliser pour décontaminer les milieux aqueux ou les surfaces dures qui sont atteints par la pollution. Le sorbant à base de polyuréthanne est un produit de l'interaction entre, d'une part, un ou plusieurs polyols de polyéthers ayant une masse moléculaire entre 300 et 6000, qui contient entre 2 et 5 groupes hydroxyles dans la molécule, avec un isocyanate aromatique qui contient entre 2 et 3 groupes d'isocyanate dans la molécule et, d'autre part, l'eau, avec un rapport massique de 1:0,5 - 2,0:0,083 - 0,25, respectivement, avec une densité apparente inférieure ou égale à 20 kg/m3 et une taille de pores inférieure ou égale à 50 micromètres, qui correspond à 50 % au minimum du nombre total de pores, ledit sorbant à base de polyuréthanne ayant la forme d'un bloc ou encore de miettes ou de poudre. Le procédé pour décontaminer les milieux aqueux et les surfaces dures, pollués par des hydrocarbures, prévoit le nettoyage de ces milieux ou surfaces par le sorbant à base de polyuréthanne.
