Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil qui permet de pénétrer la paroi d'une conduite et de créer un point de connexion dans une canalisation (1) contenant du fluide sous pression, cette invention se caractérisant en ce que l'appareil comprend un dispositif d'installation (2) qui permet l'installation stable et correctement alignée sur la canalisation, une partie intermédiaire (3) qui va du dispositif d'installation jusqu'à un dispositif de précontrainte (4), un joint (5) qui se place de manière étanche contre la surface de la canalisation, un volume (6) prévu pour supporter la pression de la canalisation, une vanne (7) et un dispositif de perçage (8) et facultativement d'autres connexions mécaniques, vannes ou dispositifs supplémentaires. L'appareil se distingue en ce que le volume (6) est formé par un tube interne (9) qui se loge dans la partie intermédiaire (3) et qui peut se déplacer longitudinalement dans cette dernière, ladite partie interne étant équipée d'un joint (5) à une extrémité orientée vers la canalisation et comportant, loin de ladite canalisation, un ou plusieurs premiers points de réaction (19) servant à fixer le dispositif de précontrainte (4), la vanne (7), et comprenant dans l'autre extrémité, un premier couplage mécanique (11) servant à connecter le dispositif de perçage (8), ledit tube interne (9) étant relié, par l'intermédiaire du ou des premiers points de réaction (19) et du dispositif de précontrainte (4), à un ou plusieurs deuxièmes points de réaction (12) situés sur la partie intermédiaire. Cette invention concerne également des procédés destinés à être utilisés avec l'appareil ainsi que l'utilisation dudit appareil.
