Abstract

L'invention concerne une liaison de tétrapeptides ou de pentapeptides linéaire ou cyclique à des récepteurs de somatostatine. Les composés selon l'invention se caractérisent en ce qu'ils contiennent le radical d'un acide amino carboxylique comportant un noyau à cinq éléments dans le squelette du peptide, ce noyau pouvant facultativement contenir O, S, Se, N ou P. Ces composés sont faciles à préparer et présentent une stabilité accrue contre les peptidases. Les composés selon l'invention induisent l'apoptose de cellules tumorales. Lesdits composés peuvent par conséquent être utilisés dans le traitement du cancer. Ces composés se caractérisent en particulier en ce qu'ils sont actifs même contre des cellules tumorales présentant une résistance à d'autres dérivés de la somatostatine, tels que l'octréotide. Ces composés peuvent également être utilisés dans le diagnostic des tumeurs, au moyen d'une tomographie par émission de positrons, et en tant qu'agents contre l'inflammation neurogène.
