Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de décomposition des hydroperoxydes organiques, en présence d'un catalyseur. Elle concerne plus particulièrement, un procédé de décomposition d'hydroperoxydes organiques en présence d'un catalyseur en un mélange d'alcools et de cétones dans lequel le catalyseur comprend au moins un élément métallique catalytiquement actif constitué par du tantale ou un composé de tantale. Ce procédé s'applique notamment à la décomposition de l'hydroperoxyde de cyclohexyle pour la production de cyclohexanone et cyclohexanol.
