Abstract

The device serves for the sealing of a tank on a vehicle and is fixed to a tank nozzle. The device comprises a sealing housing (5), with a sealing flap (16) arranged such as to pivot relative to the sealing housing (5) and to extend into the sealing housing (5). The sealing flap (5) is forced, by at least one spring (18), into a sealed position against a stop (18). In the vicinity of the sealing housing (5) at least one catch is arranged such as to retain the sealing flap (16) in the closed position in a releasable manner and which is coupled to at least one release device.
