Abstract

La présente invention concerne un adaptateur destiné à être monté entre une conduite de pression et une jauge de pression et permettant la formation d'un passage, lorsque la jauge de pression est raccordée à cet adaptateur, pour permettre de mesurer la pression du fluide mais fermer le passage, lorsque la jauge est retirée pour dysfonctionnement ou autre raison en vue de prévenir les fuites de fluide. L'adaptateur, consistant en un creux qui doit être connecté à la jauge de pression et également par une conduite avec un trou de connexion équipé d'une garniture d'un disque, qui a une projection formée pour se déplacer par glissement dans ce trou et venir s'insérer dans cette conduite. Il a également une entrée de fluide traversant l'espace situé au-dessus et autour de cette projection, ainsi qu'une garniture située sous cette projection et destinée à être mise en contact avec la surface supérieure de ce trou pour fermer cette conduite. Cet adaptateur comprend également un contrôleur de la vitesse d'écoulement qui, inséré hermétiquement pour fermer la partie inférieure du creux, a un trou pour vérifier la vitesse d'écoulement et porte des corps élastiques de telle manière qu'il peut protéger la jauge de pression en tempérant la pression du fluide lors de ses brusques changements. Le trou permettant de vérifier la vitesse d'écoulement est un trou très petit qui induit une réduction de la vitesse du fluide s'écoulant dans la jauge de pression. Il permet ainsi d'empêcher un brusque changement de l'aiguille dans la jauge de pression, et de prévenir tout dommage ou toute défaillance de la jauge de pression. En outre, même en cas de fuite du fluide due au dommage de la jauge de pression etc., seule une petite quantité de fluide est déchargée, ce qui prévient tout accident dû à la fuite du fluide. On peut également l'utiliser avec de la vapeur haute température sans tube plongeur ni autres dispositifs supplémentaires.
