Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and system for estimating a foreign language speaking by storing an applicant's answer file in an estimation server and marking answer files in a bundle. According to the present invention, the estimation server receives an answer list request from an estimation committee, extracts more than one answer list corresponding to the estimation committee, the answer list comprises more than one applicant's answer file, transmits the extracted answer list to the estimation committee, wherein the answer file is transmitted to the estimation committee and played as a motion video or a voice and estimated by the estimation committee.

1. (amended) A method for providing speaking proficiency tests based on
network, comprising the steps of:
receiving an answer list request from an estimator;
extracting an answer list corresponding to the estimator, wherein the answer list
comprises more than one applicant's answer file corresponding to same question; and
transmitting the extracted answer list to the estimator, wherein the transmitted
answer file is played with one type of group consisting of moving picture or voice and
estimated by the estimator.
2. The method of claim 1 further comprising the steps of:
receiving a scoring point about the answer file from the estimator; and
storing the scoring point as the applicant's results on an answer/results database.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the scoring point is stored on the
answer/results database comprising the applicant corresponding to the answer file.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the method for providing speaking
proficiency tests, further comprising the step of:

answer list is extracted correspondent to the problem.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein the answer list request comprises an
examination day, and the problem corresponds to the examination day.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the answer list transmitted to the
estimator comprised in a speaking proficiency estimation page.
7. The method of claim 1 further comprising the steps of:
receiving a problem request comprising more than one of the group consisting of a
problem type, a degree of difficulty, and a number of problems from the applicant;
extracting a problem corresponding to the problem request from a problem
database;
creating a problem-providing page comprising the extracted problem;
transmitting the problem-providing page to the applicant;
receiving the answer file from the applicant; and
storing the answer file on the answer/results database.
8. The method of claim 7, wherein the problem is extracted randomly.

9. The method of claim 7, wherein the answer file is one type of the group
consisting of moving picture or voice.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein the answer file is transmitted from an
applicant's apparatus corresponding to the applicant.
11. The method of claim 10, wherein the applicant's apparatus comprises a
voice output means for playing the voice of the problem, a voice input means for recording
the applicant's voice, and a voice data processing means for creating an answer file by
using the voice inputted from the voice input means.
12. The method of claim 10, wherein the applicant's apparatus comprises an
image output means for playing the moving picture of the problem, an image input means
for recording the applicant's look and action, and an image data processing means for
creating an answer file by using the image inputted from the image input means.
13. The method of claim 7, wherein the problem type comprises more than
one of the group consisting of general type, image type, passage type, and moving picture
type.

14. The method of claim 7, wherein the problem type is set up by the
applicant previously.
15. The method of claim 7, wherein the problem type is set up by the
applicant during real time.
16. The method of claim 1, wherein the applicant registers at an estimation
server as a member.
17. The method of claim 4, wherein the estimator is set up according to each
problem previously.
18. The method of claim 1, wherein an estimation server operates together
more than one branch server through the network, and the branch server performs the steps
of:
receiving a problem request comprising more than one of the group consisting of a
problem type, a degree of difficulty, and a number of problems from the applicant;
transmitting the problem request to the estimation server;
receiving a problem providing page comprising a problem corresponding to the problem request from the estimation server;
transmitting the problem providing page to the applicant;
receiving the answer file from the applicant; and
transmitting the answer file to the estimation server.
19. A method for providing speaking proficiency tests based on network by a
client problem-offering module, wherein an estimation server is connected with an
applicant's apparatus through network and the applicant's apparatus has the client
problem-offering module, comprising the steps of:
receiving a problem request from the applicant;
extracting a problem corresponding to the problem request from a client problem
database;
playing the problem in a moving picture type or a voice type;
receiving an answer file from the applicant; and
transmitting the answer file to the estimation server, wherein the estimation server
transmits an answer list comprising the answer file to the estimator corresponding to the
problem, and the answer file is played in a moving picture type or a voice type and
estimated.
20. The method of claim 19, wherein the problem request comprises more

problems.
21. The method of claim 20, wherein the problem is extracted corresponding
to the problem request.
22. The method of claim 19 further comprising the steps of:
creating a problem-providing page comprising the problem; and
playing the problem through the problem-providing page in a moving picture type
or a voice type.
23. The method of claim 19 further comprising the step of:
storing the answer file in answer storage.
24. The method of claim 19, wherein the estimation server receives a scoring
point from the estimator, and stores the scoring point on an answer/results database.
25. The method of claim 24, wherein the scoring point is stored on the
answer/results database comprising the applicant corresponding to the answer file,

26. The method of claim 19, wherein the answer file is transmitted to the
estimator comprised in a speaking proficiency estimation page.
27. The method of claim 19, wherein the applicant's apparatus comprises a
voice output means playing the voice of the problem, a voice input means recording the
applicant's voice, and a voice data processing means creating an answer file by using the
voice inputted by the voice input means.
28. The method of claim 19, wherein the applicant's apparatus comprises an
image output means playing the moving picture of the problem, an image input means
recording the applicant's look and action, and an image data processing means creating an
answer file by using the image inputted by the image input means.
29. The method of claim 21, wherein the problem type comprises more than
one of the group consisting of general type, image type, passage type, and moving picture
type.
30. The method of claim 21, wherein the problem type is set up by the
applicant previously.

applicant during real time.
32. The method of claim 19, wherein the estimator is set up according to each
problem previously.
33. (amended) A system for providing speaking proficiency tests based on
network, the system comprising:
means for receiving an answer list request from the estimator;
means for extracting an answer list corresponding to the estimator, wherein the
answer list comprises more than one applicant's answer file corresponding to same
question; and
means for transmitting the extracted answer list to the estimator, wherein the
transmitted answer file is played with one type of the group consisting of moving picture
or voice and estimated by the estimator.
34. A system for providing speaking proficiency tests based on network by a
client problem providing module, wherein an estimation server is connected with an
applicant's apparatus through network and the applicant's apparatus has the client
problem-offering module, the system comprising:

means for extracting a problem corresponding to the problem request from a client
problem database;
means for playing the problem in a moving picture type or a voice type;
means for receiving an answer file from the applicant; and
means for transmitting the answer file to the estimation server, wherein the
estimation server transmits an answer list comprising the answer file to the estimator
corresponding to the problem, and the answer file is played in a moving picture type or a
voice type and estimated.
35. A speaking proficiency tests system, the system comprising:
a storage device; and
a processor coupled to the storage device,
the storage device storing a program for controlling the processor; and
the processor operative with the program to receive an answer list request from the
estimator;
extract an answer list corresponding to the estimator, wherein the answer list
comprises more than one applicant's answer file; and
transmit the extracted answer list to the estimator, wherein the transmitted answer
file is played with one type of the group consisting of moving picture or voice and

36. A speaking proficiency tests system by a client problem-offering module,
wherein an estimation server is connected with an applicant's apparatus through network
and the applicant's apparatus has the client problem-offering module, the system
comprising:
a storage device; and
a processor coupled to the storage device,
the storage device storing a program for controlling the processor; and
the processor operative with the program to receive a problem request from the
applicant;
extract a problem corresponding to the problem request from a client problem
database;
play the problem in a moving picture type or a voice type;
receive an answer file from the applicant; and
transmit the answer file to the estimation server, wherein the estimation server
transmits an answer list comprising the answer file to the estimator corresponding to the
problem, and the answer file is played in a moving picture type or a voice type and
estimated.
