Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé informatisés selon lesquels un programme d'exercice physique adapté à un individu est créé sur la base de l'historique médicale de l'individu et de mesures du stress subi par le coeur de l'individu au cours d'un programme d'exercice antérieur. Une série de programmes d'exercice peut être créée de manière adaptée à l'individu, chaque programme étant déterminé en fonction de l'efficacité du programme précédent. L'invention concerne également un procédé de surveillance cardiaque destiné à surveiller à distance une pluralité de patients. Ledit procédé consiste à prendre des mesures de la fonction cardiaque d'un individu, à traiter ces mesures de manière à produire des données cardiaques caractéristiques de l'état de santé du coeur de l'individu, à transmettre ces données cardiaques à une base de données pour enregistrement, et à réitérer la prise de mesure, le traitement des mesures, et la transmission des données cardiaques pour une pluralité d'individus de manière à former une pluralité d'enregistrements, un pour chaque individu, un infirmier disposant d'une interface pour accéder aux enregistrements d'une pluralité d'individus placés sous la responsabilité dudit infirmier. Le programme d'exercice créé et les mesures du stress cardiaque peuvent être employés afin de commander une machine d'exercice lorsque un individu effectue un exercice.
