Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour évaluer l'état physiologique de l'organisme humain. Dans ce procédé, on détermine le rapport sodium/potassium dans l'organisme en mesurant le courant de surtension de diffusion qui s'écoule à travers un capteur contenant des électrodes verre/carbone, la salive humaine étant placée sur ce capteur; on utilise en parallèle la détection polarographique à électrodes rigides. Selon l'invention, on mesure le courant de diffusion global des ions de sodium et de potassium contenus dans la salive, dans un mode de fonctionnement du capteur à deux électrodes; après la dépolarisation des électrodes, on commute le capteur sur un mode de fonctionnement à trois électrodes, on mesure le courant de diffusion de sodium et l'on détermine le rapport sodium/potassium dans la salive. L'invention concerne aussi un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé.
