Abstract

The invention concerns the creation of a vehicle for practising a new type of amusement on snow in standard downhill run, for strolling or pleasure trips. Said vehicle consists of a single base, a steering system which enables maintenance and control through a flap beneath the base and a braking system for slowing down or stopping the run. It consists in a single base, with a shape very much like that of snow boards, which is ridden standing or seated from a telescopic vertical shaft, said vertical shaft being also foldable on the base for easy storage. A handlebar or handgrip enables to steer the vehicle by means of a flap fixed beneath the base and integral with it. Said flap can be retractable. A braking system completes the vehicle, it consists of two articulated parts, an upper part, in the form of a pedal or a bicycle handlebar brake, pressed by the foot or hand-activated will thrust the part beneath the base into the snow and automatically stop or slow down the vehicle run. Accessories may be added such as a small seat for practising gliding on the vehicle in seated position, or footstraps. The vehicle is particularly intended for adults and children inexperienced in snow-related activities, and wish to practise quickly safe snow-gliding for fun.

Description

The object of the _# present invention is the creation of a new displacement machine, having sliding, orientation and braking properties, for use, pleasure or fun, on snow.

Several equipment and materials are designed for activities on snow, including: skis, snowboarding, sledding ... Apart from the sledge which is more suitable for children and remains difficult to steer on snow, the other equipment requires good technical practice for use them and therefore fully enjoy them. Draft machines that can be driven in a standing balance exist, they are always developed on the basis of 2 skates, 1 small in front and 1 large in the back and held by a joint or a frame.

In this precise case it is about a monobloc machine, resting on a single bottom.

The device according to the invention consists in creating a new machine having properties such that its use is simple, accessible and safe, without any particular practice.

This machine is made up of a single bottom, a steering system which makes it possible to hold and to steer oneself and a braking system which makes it possible to slow down or stop the race. The machine "drives" like a scooter facing the path and allows you to put your foot on the ground, push on the snow to move forward, straighten or stop. This machine does not require any special additional equipment, just take the handlebars, place your foot on the bottom and get started on the snowy slopes.

Machine made up of several parts forming a single, one-piece system.

A UNIQUE BACKGROUND

It is a base similar in shape to that of snowboarding, made of material resistant to friction and bending imposed by practice and which can therefore be fiberglass, aluminum, a complex based of composite materials or laminated wood.

The sliding will be ensured by the material itself or by the addition of a surface layer on the underside in contact with the snow.

On the upper part, the board will, on the contrary, have a relief, a non-slip coating to allow good adhesion of the shoes or will have shells or straps to block the position of the feet.

The bottom must allow the 2 feet to be placed side by side, which is slightly offset.

A DIRECTION

A management system consisting of:

"a vertical axis: telescopic, which allows you to stand or sit on the bottom or on a seat, this vertical axis is also foldable on the bottom to facilitate storage. This vertical axis is held at the bottom by a pin which allows rotation (like the tube which allows the rotation of the handlebars which actuates the wheel on a bicycle).

The handlebar or hand grip allows you to place the 2 hands on each side of the vertical axis and can also fold or fold down for storage convenience, which handlebar allows you to keep your balance on the bottom and in a complementary way steer the machine thanks to a fin fixed under the bottom and forming a body with it.

A fin of thin thickness acting like a rudder in the water, allows to orient the course of the machine, located under the bottom of the machine, forming body and continuity with it through the vertical axis allows orient it in all directions of the horizontal plane. Which fin penetrating the snow offers 2 advantages: it directs the machine in the direction desired by the driver:

it now has a heading, moreover its characteristics being close to those of a small drift, the fin ensures the maintenance of the trajectory and avoids slipping in overflow. This fin can be retractable by being inserted in the bottom profile or in a cavity provided for this purpose. This fin can vary in shape depending on user expectations: very short fin for very broken trajectories or a long one for softer curves.

A BRAKE

A system made up of 1 or 2 articulated parts, an upper part, having a form of pedal or bicycle brake on the handlebars, which is crushed by the foot or actuated by the hand will push the part which is under the bottom in the snow and brake or slow down the course of the machine, which brake can be placed at the back or at the front of the bottom depending on the effects and technical facilities sought. The part under the bottom can be a separate element of the guide system or made with the fin in one piece, and in this case it is located at the front of the bottom.

The pedal returns to its initial position by the relaxation of a spring or other mechanism acting.

The purpose of the brake is to ensure the speed of the vehicle's stroke and to avoid incidents.

A SEAT

A small seat can be made so as to allow sliding on the machine in the seated position, this equipment can be disassembled and detached from the bottom, and in this case the brake is in the front position on the bottom.

The assembly allows stability thanks to the handlebars, orientation thanks to the aileron and safety thanks to the brake.

The shape of the board, pedals, spoiler, handlebars or brake can take an infinite number of shapes and profiles, in addition, you can add additional equipment: wedges to block the feet, shoulder strap to carry the device on the shoulder or seat for a seated practice. These different pieces of equipment are not attached to the machine and can be adjusted to meet specific expectations on a case-by-case basis.

In the accompanying drawings, we offer an aluminum variant (without seat).

The device according to the invention is particularly intended for people who want a fast, fun and safe practice of sliding sports, and is intended for all, and particularly for children and people new to the practice of activities on snow.

The practice of this new activity is done on snow on a classic downhill course, a walk or a pleasure trip.

Claims

1. Device for sliding, orienting and braking on snow, characterized in that it comprises a single bottom (1), a telescopic and folding direction (8), making it possible to keep in balance and to actuate a fin (7) located under said bottom (1) so as to orient said device, and a braking system

Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said bottom (1) is made of different types of materials, giving said bottom rigidity flexibility and sliding, chosen from complexes based on fiberglass, carbon fibers and / or slat wood, unique materials like aluminum, and alloys of different materials.

Device according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that said direction (8) consists of a vertical axis (2) integral with said bottom (1), telescopic and foldable from a joint (4 ) located above said bottom (1) for folding said vertical axis (2) onto said bottom (1) so as to facilitate the storage of said device.
