The fan 86, the aroma generator 51 and the deodorization portion 45 are installed in a separate space formed by partitions 44 formed in the central portion of the casing base 43. An air vent 42 for inhaling an offensive odor generated in the stool and periphery is formed on the casing 40 positioned in front of the deodorization portion 45. The control board 60 can be installed in the casing
40. However, in this embodiment of the present invention, the control board 60 is installed in the second cover 30.
The seat position detectors 82 and 84 play a role of checking whether or not a user uses a stool in which a state where the seat 10 is raised up and down corresponds to a rotational state of the first and second hinges 47 and 48, and includes first and second switches 82 and 84 formed of
limit switches which contact the first and second switch contacts 41a and 41b formed on an extension portion of the second hinge 48 and are turned on or off.
The first switch 82 is a switch which is turned off at a state where the seat 10 is completely raised up and is turned on if a user pulls the seat 10 a little. The second switch 84 is a switch which is turned off at a state where the seat 10 is pulled down on the main body and the seat 10 is distant from the main body by the seat spring 11 and is turned on at a state where the seat 10 contacts closely the main body as in the case that a user sits on the seat 10.
The control board 60 detects whether or not the stool is used through the first and second switches 82 and 84, if a user pulls the seat 10 or sits on the seat 10 for use of the stool of a user, and controls the operations of the fan 86, the sound signal output through the speaker 72, the ultra-violet lamps 90, and the motor 88 supplying a driving force for returning the seat 10 to an original position after stool. As shown in FIG. 4, the control board 60 includes a sound memory 68 storing sound message data, a sound processor 66 for converting a sound signal stored in the sound memory into an analog signal and outputting the converted analog signal, a sound amplifier 70 for amplifying the sound signal output from the sound processor 66 and outputting the amplified result via the speaker 72, a communications unit 64 receiving sound messages output from
the sound processor 66 on an on-line basis, a controller 62 for detecting the stool use state through the first and second switches 82 and 84, to thereby control operations of the fan 86, the ultra-violet lamps 90 and the motor 88, and receiving a sound message through the communications unit 64 on an on-line basis and storing the received sound message in the memory 68 via the sound processor 66, input and output ports 80 connected between the controller 62, and the first and second switches 82 and 84, the fan 86, the motor 88, and the ultra-violet lamps 90, for performing a signal conversion according to a signal input and output, and a power supply 74 converting a general commercial voltage 78 into a power necessary for operations of the controller 62, the communications unit 64, the sound processor 66, the memory 68, the sound amplifier 70, and the input/output ports 80 and supplying the converted voltage thereto.
If the controller means and the control board 60 operate before a user uses a stool, the controller 62 controls the ultra-violet lamps 90 to operate for sterilization of the stool and periphery thereof. Then, the first switch 82 is in a standby mode (S10) . Here, the seat 10 is fixed at a state where it is raised up together with the covers 20 and 30 by the first and second springs 49 and 50 since the stool is not used. If a predetermined time elapses, for example, one minute elapses in this embodiment (Sll), the ultra-violet lamps 90 are turned off
( S 12 ) .
If a user pulls the seat 10 a little to use the stool, the second hinge 48 is rotated a little through the seat hinge 12 in the seat 10, and thus the first switch 82 is turned on (S13) .
If the first switch 82 is turned on, the controller 62 controls the ultra-violet lamps 90 to be turned off if the ultra-violet lamps 90 are in the operation state, and the motor 88 to rotate in a counter direction in order to pull down the seat 10 so that the seat 10 is laid on the main body (S14) . Then, the second switch 84 is in the standby mode .
If the seat 10 is pulled down on the upper portion of the main body, the seat 10 maintains a state a little distant from the main body by the seat spring 11 mounted on the lower end of the seat 10. Thus, the second switch 84 is maintained in the standby mode.
Then, if a user sits on the seat 10, since the weight of the user is heavier than the elastic force of the seat spring 11, the seat 10 closely contacts the upper portion of the main body and then the second switch 84 is turned on.
If the second switch 84 is turned on (S15) , the controller 62 controls the motor 88 for driving the seat 10 to stop, controls the sound processor 66 to output a sound via the speaker 72, and simultaneously the fan 86 to be driven
(S16) .
If the fan 86 operates, the air in the periphery of the
stool is inhaled via the air vent 42, and an offensive odor is removed by the deodorization portion 45 formed of a coal filter or biofilter installed in the vicinity of the fan 86. At the same time, air is forcedly supplied to the aroma generator 51 installed in the vicinity of the fan 86, to thus emit aroma externally.
In addition, the controller 62 reads out sound data stored in the sound memory 68 via the sound processor 66 and converts the sound data into a sound signal, to thus output the sound signal amplified through the sound amplifier 70 via the speaker 72.
The sound data stored in the sound memory 68 is an advertisement of a particular company or product or music data. Thus, in the case that the sanitary stool according to the present invention is installed in the place where a number of users utilize the stool, that is, a public toilet, an advertisement can be done trough the sound message.
If a user stands up from the seat 10 after stool, the seat 10 is lifted upwards a little by the seat spring 11 mounted on the lower end of the seat 10, and second switch 84 is turned off (S17) .
If a predetermined time, for example, ten seconds in this embodiment elapses after the second switch 84 is turned off (S18) , the fan 86 for forcedly circulating the peripheral air of the stool is stopped and simultaneously the motor 88 is made to rotate forward to lift up the seat 10 and stop the operations of the motor 88 and the sound processor 66
( S 18 ) .
Meanwhile, although it is not described in the embodiment of the present invention, the present invention adopts an aroma source generating particular aroma expediting a metabolism of a human body as the aroma generated from the aroma generator 51, to thereby perform an aroma therapy expediting a metabolism of the human body. Also, the upper surface of the seat 10 is embossed with an uneven pattern, to thereby provide a finger-pressure therapy effect. Also, a detachable steam vessel is mounted in the stool, to thereby perform a steam therapy expediting a metabolism through the steam. Also, an ozone generator generating ozone and negative ions is added in the stool, to thereby clean the air in the toilet room. Further, a MP3 processor which can decode an MP3 type audio signal and a radio receiver which can receive a radio broadcasting are added in the control board 60, to thereby provide various kinds of music.
As described above, the present invention maintains the toilet room sanitarily with sterilization using ultra-violet rays, provides a water saving function for preventing a user from washing the stool by water contained in the water tank before using the stool, owing to a sanitary maintenance, solves the problem that a stool is used after laying tissue on the seat, removes an offensive odor to thus use a toilet room as a comfortable rest room, and cleans the air in the toilet room using ozone.
Although the present invention has been described with respect to a particularly preferred embodiment, the present invention is not limited in the above-described embodiment. It is apparent to one who is skilled in the art that there are many variations and modifications, without departing off from the spirit of the present invention.
Industrial Applicability
