Abstract

L'invention concerne des compositions et des procédés de prévention de la corrosion oxydative de surfaces métalliques par exposition d'une surface métallique à un agent anti-corrosion caractérisé en tant qu'acide 2,4-trans, trans-hexadiénoïque (2,4-HAD), son sel alcalin identifié en tant que sorbate de potassium (KHDA), ou d'autres dérivés conservant ou incorporant le fragment de type 2,4-trans, trans-hexadiénoïque présent dans leurs structures moléculaires en tant qu'agent anti-corrosion actif (ACA), en combinaison avec un matériau pouvant former une barrière de rétention d'humidité sur la surface métallique. Les compositions et les procédés de l'invention fournissent une solution pratique non toxique garantissant une protection anti-corrosion pour les métaux, ou les dispositifs contenant des métaux exposés, stockés ou exploités dans l'eau ou en présence de vapeur d'eau.
