Abstract

Mehrstufiger Shiftreaktor (1) zur Reduzierung eines Kohlenmonoxidgehaltes in einem wasserstoffreichen Gasgemischstrom, wobei der Shiftreaktor (1) von dem Gasgemischstrom in einer Strömungsrichtung (2) durchströmbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in Strömungsrichtung (2) hintereinander wenigstens zwei Katalysator-Trägerkörper (3) angeordnet sind, wobei zumindest zwischen den wenigstens zwei Katalysator-Trägerkörpern (3) ein Wärmetauscher (4) angeordnet ist. Ein derartiger Shiftreaktor eignet sich insbesondere zur hochdynamischen Kohlenmonoxid-Konvertierung in einer mobilen Brennstoffzellenanlage.
