Abstract

Système de marquage d'un objet biologique et de prélèvement d'un échantillon de l'objet biologique, ledit objet étant en particulier un animal. Le système comprend une première pièce de marquage, une deuxième pièce de marquage, et un axe relié à la première pièce de marquage par sa première extrémité et muni d'une tête à sa seconde extrémité. La deuxième pièce de marquage est munie d'une ouverture de réception de la tête de l'axe, si bien que ce dernier peut être pressé à travers une partie de l'objet biologique, notamment l'oreille d'un animal, puis à travers l'ouverture de réception de la deuxième pièce de marquage. La première pièce de marquage et la deuxième pièce de marquage sont ainsi reliées l'une à l'autre et à l'objet biologique au moyen de l'axe. Le système comprend également un récipient d'échantillon muni d'une ouverture pour introduire dans le récipient un échantillon de matériel biologique prélevé chez l'objet. Le récipient d'échantillon comprend un corps présentant une paroi circulaire et comportant une ouverture à une extrémité axiale, et un fond à l'extrémité axiale opposée. Le récipient d'échantillon est relié à la deuxième pièce de marquage par un élément de fixation détachable, si bien que l'ouverture du récipient est alignée avec l'ouverture de réception de la deuxième pièce de marquage. Le système comprend en outre un bouchon situé sur la tête de l'axe, qui sert à fermer l'ouverture après introduction de l'échantillon dans le récipient. En pressant l'axe à travers l'objet biologique, un échantillon est prélevé de l'objet biologique et introduit dans le récipient d'échantillon, après quoi l'ouverture du récipient est fermé par le bouchon.
