Abstract

L'invention concerne une matière comportant un substrat s'apparentant à une feuille et une couche polymère à gradient sur au moins une partie de la surface du substrat, ladite couche représentant un gradient de composition de surface, tel qu'un gradient de pH ou un gradient d'hydrophilie/hydrophobie dans au moins une direction le long de la surface du substrat. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de ladite matière et de son substrat comprenant les étapes suivantes : i. mettre à disposition le substrat s'apparentant à une feuille, ii. mettre à disposition les monomères pour la couche polymère à gradient, iii. appliquer les monomères sur la surface du substrat et iv. provoquer la polymérisation des monomères, ces derniers étant appliqués sur la surface de manière à ce que la couche ou la composition des monomères varie continuellement ou par étapes dans au moins une direction le long de la surface du substrat pour permettre l'obtention d'un gradient de composition de surface. Le procédé peut de préférence consister à appliquer la couche polymère à gradient au moyen d'un traitement au plasma.
