Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Beschichtung eines metallischen Bandes, wobei das Band bzw. ggf. die im folgenden Prozeß daraus hergestellten Bandabschnitte zuerst mit mindestens einer Korrosionsschutzschicht und danach mit mindestens einer Schicht einer lackähnlichen Polymerhaltigen Schicht oder/und mindestens einer Lackschicht überzogen wird/werden, wobei das Band nach dem Beschichten mit mindestens einer Korrosionsschutzschicht oder nach dem Beschichten mit mindestens einer Schicht einer lackähnlichen Beschichtung oder/und mindestens einer Lackschicht zu Bandabschnitten zerteilt wird, wobei die beschichteten Bandabschnitte dann umgeformt, gefügt oder/und mit mindestens einer (weiteren) lackähnlichen Schicht oder/und Lackschicht beschichtet werden, wobei min-destens eine der Korrosionsschutzschichten gebildet wird durch Beschichten der Oberfläche mit einer wässerigen Dispersion, die neben Wasser a) mindestens einen organischen Filmbildner, der mindestens ein wasserlösliches oder wasserdispergiertes Polymer enthält, b) einen Gehalt an Kationen oder/und Hexa- bzw. Tetrafluorokomplexen von Kationen ausgewählt aus der Gruppe von Titan, Zirkonium, Hafnium, Silicium, Aluminium und Bor sowie c) mindestens eine anorganische Verbindung in Partikelform mit einem mittleren Partikeldurchmesser gemessen an einem Rasterelektronenmikroskop im Bereich von 0,005 bis zu 0,2 νm Durchmesser enthält, wobei die saubere metallische Oberfläche mit der wässerigen Zusammensetzung in Kontakt gebracht und ein Partikel enthaltender Film auf der metallischen Oberfläche ausgebildet wird, der anschließend getrocknet wird und ggf. zusätzlich ausgehärtet wird, wobei der getrocknete und ggf. auch ausgehärtete Film eine Schichtdicke im Bereich von 0,01 bis 10 νm aufweist.
