Abstract

SWOOH - Early warning Light of Vehicle Braking - lights up when accelerator pedal is released and switches when accelerator pedal is pressed. The purpose of this signalling light is to make motorists - all road users, react properly and consequently to improve safety on roads.

According to the enclosed diagram , the early warning light of vehicle "braking will light up after the ignition is turned on without pressing the accelerator pedal ( switch No 4 is closed ). Pressing the accelerator pedal when starting will open the switch No 4 and turn of the SV/OOH light. It will be turned on automatically every time the v vehicle slows down , warning cars approaching from "behind to keep at a safe distance and he careful. In this manner , the principal idea of the Traffic Law , i.e. that every manoeuvre has to "be signalled before its inception , will be implemented.
It is obvious that that kind of .device will help to avoid many road accidents , particulary running into other vehicles.
The Existing solutions
The process of braking is signalled with the stop light that turns on after the brake pedal is pressed, that is when the braking unit has begun operation. This solution ignores the fact that braking actually starts when drivers take their feet off the accelerator pedal and the engine itself begins the braking process, The manoeuvre of engine braking, e.g. while driving on a slippery road or approaching a point and slowing down without actually braking, is not included in the signalling installation at all.
Problems with braking signals and the related- road safety brought only improvement in stop lights, when an additional light was allowed.

Claim
The device called " uarly warning light of vehicle braking " , S OOH for short , is characterised by the fact that it is placed in the most conspicous point of the vehicle rear, ,its shape and colour is specific for brake or warning signals, its work is controlled by a switch connected with the accelerator pedal or devices controlled by the said pedal in such a way that it lights up when the pedal is released and switches off when it is pressed
A shape of equilateral triangle is proposed with yellow inside and red sides, which is similar to road signs with warning function. Additionally , the " stop" light fitted in a vehicle may be used after mmdifying electrical installation.
