Abstract

The invention relates to an integrated memory (10) comprising memory locations (MC), which are arranged inside at least one first and second memory cell block (1, 2) each having column lines (BL) and row lines (WL). Per memory location block (1, 2), column lines (BL) are connected each time to an activatable read amplifier (13, 23) in order to evaluate a data signal of a selected memory location (MC). During an access cycle (T), a respective memory location (MC1, MC2) is selected by means of a control circuit (4) at any one time in each of the memory location blocks (1, 2), and the respective read amplifier (13, 23) is activated, whereby the activation of the read amplifiers (13, 23) of the respective memory location blocks (1, 2) and of a respective deactivation circuit (TD1, TD2) occurs in temporal intervals. This enables, in particular, the provision of a rapid test mode of the memory (10) without a considerable decline in the supply voltage (V1).
