Abstract

Die Brennstoffzelle weist eine Polymerelektrolytmembran sowie zwei daran zu beiden Seiten angeordnete Gasdiffusionselektroden auf, die von elektrisch leitfähigen Endplatten abgeschlossen sind. Die Endplatten sind im Spritzguss hergestellt und bestehen aus einem thermoplastischen Grundwerkstoff (6) sowie einem die Leitfähigkeit erhöhenden nichtmetallischen Stoff (7), beispielsweise Kohlenstoff. Zur weiteren Erhöhung der Leitfähigkeit sind Metallfasern (8) eingegliedert.
