Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de destruction de cible blindée avec un projectile à charge creuse, fondé sur la pénétration dans l'espace derrière le blindage, à travers le trou percé par le jet de charge creuse, d'un élément de destruction supplémentaire constitué par du pilon formé par du matériau de revêtement du projectile à charge creuse. L'accélérateur hydrodynamique du revêtement de la charge explosive est fabriqué d'un matériau dont l'impédance acoustique n'est pas inférieure à celle du matériau de revêtement du projectile; il se présente comme une bouche métallique tronconique évasée dont la base ayant un diamètre plus large repose sur le socle du revêtement. L'alésage circulaire dans la zone adjacente à la base de l'évidement pour charge creuse contient un insert annulaire fait avec un matériau dont l'impédance acoustique est égale ou supérieure à 4,8 x 10(7) kg ?. m(-2) .¿ s(-1). Le projectile à charge creuse en cascade est constitué d'au moins deux cascades axialement asymétriques, disposées dans le corps l'une après l'autre; chaque cascade est constituée de trois sections, à savoir: une charge explosive avec évidement pour charge creuse et revêtement à accélérateur hydrodynamique et insert annulaire, une unité de transfert et un volet de la partie basse vitesse du jet de charge creuse ou du pilon.
