Abstract

The invention concerns a U-shaped accumulator device comprising a transport plane (5) for products whereof the length is variable between fixed intake (A) and outlet (B) ends. The invention is characterised in that said accumulator device consists of a continuous powered chain (4) in the form of an assembly of transporting elements (8) (pallet chain, modular belt) configured in two superimposed U-shapes, one (5) defining an upper side corresponding to the product transporting plane, and the other (6) defining a lower side.
