Abstract

L'invention concerne un réseau informatique longue distance permettant de surveiller plusieurs systèmes de détection hors site. A cet effet, les données télémétriques issues de capteurs situés en divers emplacements sont reçues au niveau d'une base de données centrale, à laquelle les ordinateurs personnels locaux peuvent accéder via Internet. Le gérant d'un magasin peut ainsi procéder à l'affichage hors site en temps réel de l'état de température de diverses unités frigorifiques se trouvant dans divers magasins. La base de données centrale donnent uniquement accès aux données relatives aux clients aux utilisateurs autorisés. Ainsi, une seule interface Internet suffit à la réception et à la gestion des données provenant de plusieurs comptes clients sur un système commun. En outre, le système selon l'invention permet d'effectuer une facturation précise séparée pour chacun des clients, et ce en fonction du nombre d'accès ou autres critères spécifiées par le client. Enfin, la base de données centrale offre une certaine souplesse dans la mesure où elle peut recevoir des données issues de diverses installations, notamment de sites spécialisés ou d'emplacements mobiles. De cette manière, les données télémétriques peuvent être suivies et affichées par le biais d'un procédé en plusieurs étapes impliquant plusieurs parties. Des notifications peuvent d'ailleurs être envoyées à une personne autorisée quelconque de la chaîne de traitement en cas d'un fonctionnement hors des limites de tolérance .
