Cables and the like can hereby be placed in the channel 2 of a skirting profile 1 mounted on a wall by bending the resilient decorative laminate 7 out from the wall 10 whereby the cable and the like can be inserted whereby the laminate 7 can flex back and again connect with the wall 10.
  • the resilient decorative laminate is constituted of at least one decorative sheet, preferably of ⁇ -cellulose impregnated with melamine-formaldehyde resin and a underlying support sheet of a thermoplastic material, preferably a polyolefin.
  • the laminate also includes one or more so-called overlay sheets of ⁇ -cellulose impregnated with melamine-formaldehyde resin which are placed in front of the decorative sheet.
  • the laminate has a wear resistance measured as IP>3000 turns.
