Abstract

The invention relates to the packing devices used for storing and consuming carbonated drinks, beer, and other fluid mediums by portions. The inventive siphon plug is embodied in the form of a cap provided with a screw thread on the inner cylindrical surface thereof and with a seal on the inner surface of the bottom. Said plug is also fitted with a sealing ring on the inner cylindrical surface of the end opposite to the bottom, and has at least one through channel. One end of the channel exits from the bottom of the plug and another end enters the side wall of the plug between the bottom and the sealing ring. The siphon plug can have several through channels in order to increase the delivery capacity thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the through channels are provided with a common outlet situated on the bottom of the plug. The inventive siphon plug is used for closing recipients, for example bottles containing carbonated drinks and enables a consumer to pick out the contents by portions as needed.
