Abstract

A wavelength locking system is disclosed. The system includes first and second detectors, an optical detector, and a processor. The first detector measures a first power level of an input light beam. The optical filter is configured to adjust a reference wavelength of the light beam. The optical filter also outputs an output light beam that is stabilized at the reference wavelength. The second detector is coupled to the optical filter, and measures a second power level of the output light beam. The processor provides an error value in the reference wavelength of the light beam. In one embodiment, the error value may be computed by differencing a ratio of the second power level to the first power level with the reference wavelength.
