Abstract

L'invention concerne un carburant sous forme liquide destiné à être utilisé dans divers systèmes de combustion. Ce carburant respectueux de l'environnement caractérisé par son pouvoir calorifique supérieur, sa forte volatilité et son prix modique se compose essentiellement de pentane de dilution du brut lourd, les différentes proportions du mélange pouvant être utilisées avec des systèmes de combustion différents. Comme le pentane brut peut être partiellement ou complètement substitué par des alcanes à forte volatilité, à prix modique et ayant un faible indice d'octane (cétane élevé), le carburant obtenu s'érige en substitut diesel bon marché pour moteurs à diesel. Par ailleurs, les proportions différentes du mélange permettent de l'adapter à des moteurs diesel à régime différent et sa gazéification ainsi que sa combustibilité sont nettement supérieures au diesel conventionnel ce qui contribue à la réduction des gaz d'échappement et à la préservation de l'environnement.
