Abstract

The present invention discloses a novel polypeptide - human C. elegans 52 and a polynucleotide encoding the same, as well as a method of producing the polypeptide by DNA recombinant technique. The present invention also discloses methods of using the polypeptiin treatment of various disease, such as Juvenile's nephrosis, malignant tumour, blood disease, HIV infection, immunological disease, various inflammation and so on. The present invention also discloses an antagonist against the polypeptide and the therapeuticuse of the same. Also disclosed is the use of such novel polynucleotide encoding human C. elegans 52.
