Definitions
- the invention relates to a flexible cover, in particular for opening and closing an access opening for the work space of multi-station CNC machining centers, in particular made of dimensionally stable sheet metal, plastic or other heat and moisture resistant
- Materials existing segments each having two side walls and an outer wall connecting them, can be pivoted about a common axis of rotation, telescopically nested and rotated in a fan shape when the cover is closed.
- the stations have a common work space.
- both processing units work together on the workpiece in one station.
- the loading and unloading area is mutually partitioned off from the neighboring work area by a swiveling protection.
- the pivotable protection is designed as a bellows with plastic material interspersed with textile. With frequent use and aggressive particle and moisture influences, this protection is heavily loaded and susceptible to wear.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a more wear-resistant flexible cover which enables improved and long-lasting protection even when exposed to aggressive particles and moisture.
- the solution to this problem is specified in claim 1.
- Subclaims 2 to 6 relate to useful further training.
- a cover wherein at least one coupling link is articulated to the segments via an axis of rotation and the coupling links of two adjacent segments are also articulated to one another via an axis of rotation, so that all segments are positively guided and simultaneously movable.
- the space for loading and unloading is also protected against splashing water and during the machining in the neighboring station Machining chips protected.
- the telescopically nested segments are scissor-like interconnected via coupling links so that they are positively guided when opening and closing. An uncontrolled relative movement between the individual segments and possible noise pollution is avoided by this forced operation.
- the individual segments each consist of two essentially triangular side walls and an outer wall, the outer walls of the segments having an essentially circular-arc-shaped contour in cross section and running essentially on a radius to the axis of rotation. Stop elements are arranged on the individual segments, which hold the individual segments in an overlapping arrangement when the cover is pivoted out and prevent gaps.
- Fig. 1 is a side view of the extended flexible cover
- Fig. 2 is a front view of the nested cover
- Fig. 3 is a side view of the partially retracted cover
- Fig. 4 shows a segment in the front view (left) and in the side view
- the lower segment 1 is firmly connected to a frame 6, which can be pivoted about a 90 ° into a vertical arrangement around the shafts 5, 19 from a substantially horizontal arrangement.
- This pivot angle can also be much larger, for. B. even be 180 degrees.
- the further segments 1 'adjoining the lower segment 1 are each slightly larger, so that they can be nested into one another during their pivoting movement until they are all arranged in the uppermost segment 1 ", which is firmly attached to the machine frame 23 at an angle 22
- the outer wall elements 12, 12 'and 12 " are each arranged on a radius to the axis of rotation of the shafts 5 and 19.
- the individual segments 1, 1 ', 1 "are connected to one another via coupling links 2, 3, 3', 4, 4 ', 4", which fold together in scissors-like fashion on the individual segments when the cover is pushed together in the opposite direction.
- the directions of rotation about the axes of rotation 8 to 11 are described in more detail with the arrows 14 to 17.
- the coupling member 2 is rotatably mounted at point 8 on the lowest segment 1.
- the coupling member 2 is rotatably connected to the coupling member 3 at the point 9.
- the coupling member 3 is rotatably mounted at point 10 on the second segment 1 '.
- the coupling element 3 is connected to the coupling element 4 at point 11. Accordingly, all further coupling elements 3 'and 4' shown in FIG. 1 are coupled to the remaining segments 1 '.
- On the top segment 1 ", which is firmly connected to the machine frame 23 is, similar to the coupling member 2 on the segment 1, the coupling member 4 "is articulated.
- a cylinder 7 is provided according to FIG. 2, which engages on the frame 6 via the lever mechanism 13 and moves it in the direction of the arrow 14 (cf. FIG. 1).
- the bottom segment 1 is thereby carried in the same direction.
- the arrangement of the coupling elements 2 to 4 "on the individual segments 1 to 1" causes the individual coupling elements to forcibly move in the direction of the arrows 15 to 17 indicated.
- the coupling member 2 rotates in the direction of the arrow 15 to the right until the axis of rotation 9 rests in the radially outer recess 24 of the segment 1.
- the coupling member 3 rotates to the left in the direction of the arrow 16 until the axis of rotation 11 lies in the radially inner recess 25 of the segment 1.
- this final state is only reached when the segment 1 has completely disappeared in the uppermost segment 1 ".
- the scissor-like arrangement of the coupling elements according to the invention causes all the coupling elements 2 to 4" to rotate simultaneously and the individual segments 1 to 1 to move simultaneously " have as a consequence.
- FIG. 3 shows the flexible cover in the partially raised state, only the bottom three segments 1, 1 'being shown. However, the changed position of the coupling elements 2 to 4 can be seen. Due to the forced guidance of the segments 1, 1 ', the overlap 18 of all adjacent segments 1, 1' has increased accordingly.
- FIG. 1 also shows the stops 26 and 27 on the roof elements 12 to 12 ", which prevent the segments from falling apart and ensure a minimum overlap.
- the flexible cover according to the invention is not only for machines for machining workpieces, but also for any other Usable cases in which a space must be delimited on three or four sides in a simple and stable manner.
- the segments 1, 1 ', 1 " can consist, for example, of aluminum, iron materials, heat and moisture-resistant plastics or other materials that are as stable as possible.
