Abstract
Es wird eine Brennstoffzelle beschrieben, mit einem Anodenteil (11), der eine Zuleitung und eine Ableitung für einen Brennstoff, beispielsweise Wasserstoff, aufweist, einem Kathodenteil (14), der eine Zuleitung und eine Ableitung für ein Oxidationsmittel, beispielsweise Sauerstoff, aufweist und einer zwischen dem Anodenteil und dem Kathodenteil befindlichen Membran (17). Um zu erreichen, dass zu jedem Betriebszeitpunkt in der Brennstoffzelle nur ein begrenzter Differenzdruck zwischen dem Anodenteil und dem Kathodenteil über der Membran herrscht, ist erfindungsgemäss vorgesehen, dass in der Ableitung für den Brennstoff ein federbelasteter Druckregler (20) und in der Ableitung für das Oxidationsmittel ein membrangesteuerter Druckregler (30) angeordnet ist. Die beiden Druckregler sind miteinander gekoppelt. Dies erfolgt vorteilhaft dadurch, dass eine Regelkammer des Druckreglers mit einer Druckkammer des Druckreglers über eine Kopplungsleitung (40) verbunden ist. Auf diese Weise können die Drücke im Anodenteil und im Kathodenteil in allen Betriebszuständen der Brennstoffzelle gleich gehalten werden.
