Abstract
Es wird ein Brennstoffzellensystem (10) beschrieben, mit einer Brennstoffzelle (11), die einen Anodenraum (12) mit einer Zuleitung (13) und einer Ableitung (14) für einen Brennstoff, beispielsweise Wasserstoff, und einen Kathodenraum (16) mit einer Zuleitung (17) und einer Ableitung (18) für ein Oxidationsmittel, beispielsweise Sauerstoff oder Luft, aufweist. Zur Erzeugung des Brennstoffs ist eine Vorrichtung (20) zum Erzeugen/Aufbereiten von Brennstoff vorgesehen, die ausgangsseitig (22) mit der Brennstoffzuleitung (13) und eingangsseitig (21) über eine Kraftstoffzuleitung (31) mit einem Kraftstofftank (30) verbunden ist, in dem als Ausgangsmaterial für den Brennstoff beispielsweise Methanol, Benzin oder dergleichen gespeichert ist. Um die einzelnen Komponenten des Brennstoffzellensystems (10) bei Realisierung von guten Wärmeübergängen möglichst klein halten zu können, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß der Brennstoff unter erhöhtem Druck erzeugt wird. Zur Einstellung eines bestimmten Druckniveaus und/oder Temperaturniveaus des Brennstoffs für die Brennstoffzelle (11) ist daher in der Kraftstoffzuleitung (31) wenigstens eine Fördereinrichtung (32, 35) und in der Brennstoffzuleitung (13) und/oder der Brennstoffableitung (14) wenigstens ein Druckregler (40, 41) vorgesehen. Weiterhin können zwischen einzelnen Komponenten des Brennstoffzellensystems (10) weitere Druckregler (42, 43, 44, 45, 46) vorgesehen sein.
