Description

Dichtscheibe sealing washer
Stand der TechnikState of the art
The invention relates to a sealing washer, in particular for a fuel injection nozzle.
The fuel that is supplied to an injection nozzle of a fuel injection system is usually filtered when it enters the injection nozzle. This prevents dirt particles from entering the injection nozzle and impairing its function. A separate filter element is usually used for filtering, as will be described below with reference to FIG. 1.
Das Filterelement dient dazu, den über den Druckrohrstutzeπ 12 zugeführten Kraftstoff zu filtern.1 shows a fuel injection nozzle according to the prior art. The nozzle body 10 is provided with a screwed-in pressure pipe socket 12, via which the fuel is supplied to the injection nozzle, which fuel is finally injected into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine supplied by the injection nozzle. In order to ensure the tightness between the nozzle body 10 and the pressure pipe socket 12, a sealing washer 14 is provided, which consists of soft iron. This seals between the bottom of the bore provided for receiving the pressure pipe socket in the nozzle body 10 and the corresponding end face of the pressure pipe socket. A filter element 16, which can be designed as a rod filter, is arranged in the interior of the pressure pipe socket. The filter element serves to filter the fuel supplied via the pressure pipe nozzle 12.
The object of the invention is to simplify the known structure.
Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention
A sealing washer with the features of claim 1 combines the functions of two components that have always been carried out separately in a single component: on the one hand, a sealing effect is provided for the pressure pipe socket, and on the other, a filter is formed for the fuel supplied to the injection nozzle. On the one hand, this results in advantages during assembly. On the other hand, it is avoided that chips and notches arise in the pressure pipe socket, which could previously have been the case when the filter element known from the prior art was pressed in. In addition, the design options for the fuel connection are expanded, since the pressure pipe socket is significantly smaller without the separate filter element. In addition to optimized bore transitions, this also increases the pressure threshold strength.
Zeichnungendrawings
In diesen zeigen:The invention is described below with reference to a preferred embodiment which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings. In these show:
- Fig. 1 in einem Querschnitt eine Einspritzdüse mit einer Dichtscheibe nach dem Stand der Technik; - Fig. 2 in vergrößertem Maßstab den Ausschnitt II von Fig. 1 mit einer erfindungsgemäßen Dichtscheibe; und- Figure 1 in cross section an injection nozzle with a sealing washer according to the prior art. - Figure 2 on an enlarged scale the detail II of Figure 1 with a sealing washer according to the invention. and
- Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf eine erfindungsgemäße Dichtscheibe.- Fig. 3 is a plan view of a sealing washer according to the invention.
Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielsDescription of the embodiment
This is provided with the reference number 140 and has a circular filter section 142 which is surrounded by an annular sealing section 144 lying radially outside the filter section.
The filter section 142 has a multiplicity of small filter bores 146, which are laser-drilled, for example. In this way, the diameter of the filter bores 146 can be adapted to the size of the dirt particles to be filtered out.
The sealing section 144 is designed with a material strength that is adapted to the sealing function. For example, the sealing section 144 can consist of soft iron.
If necessary, the sealing washer 140 may be also made of a composite material, so that the sealing section 144 can be performed with a comparatively geriπ- gen hardness and the 'filter portion 142 having a greater hardness.
The described sealing disk can also be used in connection with a high-pressure fuel pump upstream of its high-pressure nozzle and upstream of the associated pressure control valve.
