Abstract

The invention relates to a set of headphones which is provided for exposing at least one ear (20) to sound and which is equipped with an electroacoustic transducer (22) having a sound propagation center axis (26) and equipped with a holding device (11) for holding the transducer (22). The holding device (11) holds the transducer (22) in such a manner that the sound propagation center axis (26) thereof is oriented with a horizontal angle (α) ranging from 30° to 60° toward the ear in a manner that is ventrally inclined with regard to a median plane. In addition, the holding device can be adjusted in such a manner that a free space (23) is formed between the transducer (22) and the ear (20). This prevents sound emitted by the transducer from directly entering the auditory canal of the ear so that a spatial sound effect is produced.
