Abstract

Ein Kopfhörer zur Beschallung mindestens eines Ohres (20) weist einen elektroakustischen Wandler (22) mit einer Schallausbreitungsmittelachse (26) und einer Haltevorrichtung (11) zum Halten des Wandlers (22) auf. Die Haltevorrichtung (11) hält den Wandler (22) derart, dass seine Schallausbreitungsmittelachse (26) in einem Horizontalwinkel (α) von 30°- 60° ventral geneigt zu einer Medianebene auf das Ohr gerichtet ist. Die Haltevorrichtung ist ferner derart verstellbar, dass zwischen dem Wandler (22) und dem Ohr (20) ein freier Zwischenraum (23) gebildet ist. Auf diese Weise wird ein direkter Schalleintritt des von dem Wandler kommenden Schalls in den Gehörgang des Ohres vermieden, so dass ein räumlicher Klangeindruck entsteht.
