Abstract

L'établissement par voie électronique de connexions transversales entre lignes de communications nécessite la formation d'une matrice contrôlable de relais et de plusieurs filtres. Un signal composite comprenant des composantes basse fréquence et haute fréquence est reçu au niveau de la matrice de relais, laquelle est contrôlée pour diriger le signal composite vers un filtre particulier. Une composante basse fréquence filtrée est fournie au niveau d'une sortie de filtre particulier. La matrice de relais est contrôlée pour diriger au moins la composante haute fréquence vers une sortie de la matrice de relais. La composante basse fréquence du signal composite peut contenir un signal de bande vocale et la composante haute fréquence du signal composite peut contenir un signal de données. La matrice de relais peut être contrôlée au niveau local ou à distance. La matrice de relais peut être contrôlée de façon à réduire considérablement le nombre de connexions inactives établies entre des multiplexeurs à accès numérique et un répartiteur principal ou un commutateur téléphonique.
