Abstract

The invention relates to a packaging material-saving, reclosable, bag-shaped receptacle or a sealing edge bag (1), which can be used for pouring the contents thereof in a targeted manner and to a method for producing, filling, closing and reclosing said receptacle after utilization. According to the invention, a bag-shaped receptacle (1) consists of a particularly quadratic, rectangular or polygonal blank (2), whereby a closed, bag-shaped receptacle if formed from said blank (2) by at least partially assembling and connecting two of its edges (24), which start at one common point, whereby said blank (2) is a single piece. A first common contact area (4) is formed by assembling said two adjacent edges, the contact area being permanently connected in the form of a crown (8). Two additional, adjacent edges (26', 27') define a free segment (15) and are moved by their common limiting point (12) towards the crown (8) of the first contact area (4), whereby the parallel halves (26, 27) of said edges (26', 27') form two additional contact areas 26 , 27 ) that are also permanently closed after the receptacle has been filled. The receptacle disclosed in the invention makes it possible to save up to 60 % packaging material and up to 50 % energy can be saved by closing the sealing edge using ultrasound sealing or bonding. The receptacle according to the invention can be used for receiving powder, granular or pourable products or pasty, liquid or gelated products to be poured.
