Definitions

  • the bearing cage is comprised of bronze. It has been found that bronze bearing cages with a dual gothic arch pocket geometry and two-piece cages with a dual gothic arch pocket geometry perform quieter and run at lower steady- state temperatures.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne une cage améliorée s'utilisant dans des roulements de guidage situés à l'intérieur d'un roulement à rouleaux. La cage comprend un ensemble pièces d'écartement comportant plusieurs pièces d'écartement (30) qui s'étendent axialement à partir d'une première plaque d'extrémité (34) intégrale. L'ensemble pièces d'écartement est fixé à une deuxième plaque d'extrémité (32) de forme similaire pour former une cage à deux éléments. Les pièces d'écartement présentent des côtés (31) opposés, et les zones situées entre les côtés de pièces d'écartement adjacentes définissent des compartiments conçus pour recevoir les rouleaux. Chaque compartiment de la cage à deux éléments présente une configuration à double arc gothique.
