Abstract

Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren zur Strahlformung für den Downlink-Kanal in CDMA-basierten Mobilfunksystemen werden für den Uplink-Kanal aus Pfaden mit geschätzten Richtungen und geschätzten Leistungen der von einem Antennenarray in der Basisstation empfangenen Signale die K leistungsstärksten Pfade ausgewählt. Richtcharakteristik und Direktivität werden sowohl für diese als auch für die ihrer Leistung nach geringer werdenden (K-1) Pfade berechnet. Anschließend wird ein Iterationsprozeß unter Berücksichtigung eines in Abhängigkeit von der Anwendung gesetzten Schwellwertes, der nicht überschritten werden darf, durchgeführt. Abschließend wird das für die Mobilstation bestimmte Signal der Basisstation durch Multiplikation des k-ten Gewichtsfaktors mit dem zur Mobilstation zu sendenden Signal erzeugt.
