Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de localisation de biens et de personnes mobiles au moyen d'un réseau GSM. Ce procédé consiste à : a) déterminer, à partir de toutes les stations radiotéléphoniques (GSM) fixes disponibles sur le lieu de réception, les données cellulaires de ces dernières ainsi que, au moins trois fois, la valeur Ta, au moyen d'une unité radiotéléphonique mobile GSM ; b) comparer les valeurs Ta entre elles, contrôler la précision de reproduction et rejeter les valeurs qui dépassent un seuil de tolérance ; c) acheminer à une unité d'évaluation et de traitement les valeurs Ta, comprises dans la plage de tolérance, et leurs valeurs cellulaires en tant que données de position pour mettre à jour une banque de données de référence ; et/ou d) convertir, à partir des données de position mises à jour, les données de position en coordonnées de position de l'unité radiotéléphonique mobile GSM, au moyen de l'unité d'évaluation et de traitement de la banque de données, avant de les mettre en application.
